About

My name is Broke M.B.A. and I recently graduated with an MBA from a public university.  I choose to write anonymously as I tend to make quite a bit of my personal and financial information available.  Primary topics consist of the normal day to day subjects regarding personal finance that you probably face on a consistent basis.  I learned a great deal while obtaining my M.B.A., but I felt slighted in the personal finance spectrum.  So, while I’ll try and post content that you find interesting and useful, I am hoping to use this blog as a learning tool myself.

You may wonder why I chose my blog’s name, “The Broke M.B.A.” While I’m not text-book definition broke, but I was pretty darn close when I first started this blog.  You can check out my networth to see the progress I have made over the years.  This will be updated on a monthly basis to help track my progress.  I hope you check back frequently and leave a comment or two every now and then to remind me that yes, someone is reading and finds something posted here useful, practical, entertaining, or as a way just to burn a few minutes of your work day.
